Clone REA814 recognizes the human zeta-chain-associated protein kinase 70 (ZAP70). ZAP70 plays an essential role in regulation of the adaptive immune response. It is normally expressed near the surface membrane of T cells and natural killer cells. Zap70 associates with the ζ subunit of the T cell antigen receptor and plays a critical role in T cell–signaling. It regulates both T cell–activation switch on and switch off by modulating TCR expression at the T cell surface. During thymocyte development, ZAP70 promotes survival and cell-cycle progression of developing thymocytes before positive sel
