Clone REA1268 recognizes the human TRA-2-54 antigen, a is a homodimeric protein enzyme, which is also known as Liver Bone Kidney Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP, AP, ALPL). TRA-2-54 dephosphorylates compounds by catalyzing the hydrolysis of monoesters in phosphoric acid. TRA-2-54 is expressed by cells from kidney, bone, and liver. It is found in high levels on undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells, e.g. embryonic stem (ES) cells, induced pluripotent stem cell(iPS) and embryonal carcinoma (EC).Additional information: Clone REA1268 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
