Clone REA1411 recognizes the TAG-72 (Tumor associated glycoprotein 72), a cell surface glycoprotein overexpressed in adenocarcinomas, particularly of the colon, stomach, breast, prostate, lung and ovary. It is predicted to enable RNA binding activity and mRNA (guanine-N7-)-methyltransferase activity. TAG-72 as a tumor-associated antigen is identified as potential targets for CAR-T cell therapy.
