Clone REA1292 recognizes the human SCIMP, a membrane protein, which belongs to family of transmembrane adaptor proteins (TRAP). In a phosphorylated state, SCIMP binds to SLP65/SLP76 and inhibitory kinase Csk. It is expressed in antigen presenting cells (APC), including B cells, macrophages, and bone marrow derived dendritic cells. It may play a role in signal transduction after MHC-II stimulation and functions as a regulator of antigen presentation and other functions of antigen presenting cells.Additional information: Clone REA1292 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
