Clone REA723 recognizes Rae-1 alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon. Rae-1α, β, γ, δ, and ε represent a family of closely related GPI-anchored cell surface proteins. These proteins act as ligands for the mouse NKG2D receptor, which is an activating receptor expressed on NK cells and T cells. Rae-1 transcripts are found in mouse embryos and in several tumor cell lines, but they are largely absent in most normal adult tissues.Additional information: Clone REA723 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
