Clone REA1358 recognizes the PLZF protein, also knwon as promyelocytic leukemia zinc finger or Zbtb16, an iNKT cell-specific zinc finger transcription factor that contains nine Kruppel-type zinc finger domains at the carboxyl terminus. PLZF plays a role in cell cycle progression, myeloid maturation and in the development and/or maintenance of other differentiated tissues and NKT cells. PLZF is expressed in hematopoietic progenitors, NK cells, and T cells.
