Clone REA837 recognizes the human Anti-OSMRβ antigen, the β subunit of the Oncostatin-M-specific receptor (OSMR). OSMRβ belongs to the IL-6 receptor family and is activated by Oncostatin-M. Its expression is up-regulated by IFN-γ and bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). OSMRβ is found in high levels in all neural cells as well as in fibroblast, in epithelial cells, and in a variety of tumor cell lines. OSM is most closely related to leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and it utilizes the LIF receptor in addition to its specific receptor in the human. Additional information: Clone REA837 displays
