Clone REA1057 recognizes the human mesothelin antigen, a membrane glycoprotein also known as CAK1 or pre-pro-megakaryocyte-potentiating factor. Mesothelin is expressed on mesothelial cells and overexpressed on different tumors, e.g., mesotheliomas and adenocarcinomas. Mesothelin is a precursor protein which has functions in cellular adhesion.Additional information: Clone REA1057 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
