Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a small mitogenic polypeptide that stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of a wide variety of cells of ectodermal and mesodermal origin, including fibroblasts, epithelial cells, and endothelial cells. MACS GMP Recombinant Human EGF is designed for ex vivo cell culture processing. No animal- or human-derived materials were used for the manufacture of this product, unless otherwise stated in the respective Certificate of Origin. The product is lyophilized without carrier protein or preservatives.
