Clone REA412 recognizes the human lymphotoxin beta receptor (LT-ßR) antigen, a 47 kDa single-pass type I membrane protein which is also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 3 (TNF-RIII). LT-ßR is a member of the TNF receptor family that play a role in the development and organization of lymphoid tissues. Unlike the other TNF receptors, LT-ßR does not bind a soluble ligand, but rather, a membrane form of a heterotrimeric lymphotoxin complex comprised of one LTα and two LTβ molecules.
