Clone REA146 recognizes LAT phosphorylated at tyrosine 226. Linker of T cell activation (LAT), a transmembrane adaptor molecule, is constitutively localized in the lipid rafts and is involved in transducing the signal initiated by triggered T cell receptor (TCR). Upon TCR engagement, SRC and SYK family of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs) are activated and LAT is phosphorylated at multiple conserved tyrosine residues in its cytosolic domain by Syk-family PTK Zap-70. Phosphorylated LAT can associate with several downstream SH2 domain containing proteins such as GRB2, PLCy1, ITK, GADS, and p85 sub
