Clone REA160 recognizes the human linker for activation of T cell family member 1 (LAT) antigen phosphorylated at tyrosine 171 (pY171). LAT is an integral membrane protein that was initially detected as a major PTK substrate during T cell–receptor (TCR) activation. It is also involved in low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III mediated signaling in natural killer cells and high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor mediated signaling in mast cells.
