Clone REA1016 recognizes the mouse killer cell lectin-like receptor G1 (KLRG1) antigen. KLRG1 is a homodimeric type II transmembrane glycoprotein of 30–38 kDa subunits. The protein is the mouse homolog of the rat mast cell function–associated antigen (MAFA) and is expressed on a subset of NK cells and T cells. Several members of the cadherin family can interact with KLRG1 leading to inhibition of NK cell and T cell effector functions.Additional information: Clone REA1016 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
