Clone REA1470 recognizes IMP3, also known as IGF2BP3, which is an RNA-binding protein that influences mRNA stabilization and regulation. It preferentially binds to mRNA with specific sequence motifs and stabilizes them, leading to increased protein production. IMP3 is highly expressed mainly in embryonic tissues, certain adult cell types, and many tumors, while it is often expressed at low levels or not at all in normal adult tissue.
