Clone REA666 recognizes the mouse interleukin 17F (IL-17F) antigen, a cytokine which is expressed by a subset of activated T cells in the lamina propria. IL-17F belongs to the IL-17 gene family, which consists of six members (IL-17A, IL-17B, IL-17C, IL-17D, IL-17E, and IL-17F). All members have a similar protein structure, with four highly conserved cysteine residues critical to their 3-dimensional shape.
