Clone REA1088 recognizes the Hepatocyte Specific Antigen, also known as HSA or Hep-Par1. Hep-Par1 has been detected in the majority of hepatocellular carcinomas, cholangiocarcinoma and hepatoblastomas and in a subset of gastric carcinoma. It is expressed in both benign and malignant adult and fetal liver derived tissues and helps to differentiate hepatocellular carcinomas from adenocarcinomas, either primary or metastatic. Additional information: Clone REA1088 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
