Clone REA544 recognizes the human CLEC2A antigen, which is a member of the C-type lectin-like domain–containing family. It enhances TCR-stimulated T cell expansion by upregulating anti-apoptotic proteins and may modulate the capacity of T cells to home to lymph nodes through SELL. It facilitates dedicated immune recognition of keratinocytes via interaction with its receptor KLRF2 by stimulating natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity.
