Clone REA678 recognizes the mouse CD97 antigen variant 2 (CD97v2).CD97 is a member of the EGF-TM7 family, which is a group of class II seven-span transmembrane receptors expressed ubiquitously, but mainly expressed by cells of the immune system. CD97 has seven putative transmembrane domains. It has an extended extracellular segment containing several adhesion molecule structure motifs, and has been shown to interact with the human DAF (CD55).
