Clone REA1373 recognizes the CD92 protein, which is also known as SLC44A1, CTL1 or CDw92. CD92 is a surface protein that is widly expressed on leukocytes and endothelial cells, fibroblasts and epithelial cells, but also on monocytes and neutrophils. It functions as a plasma and mitochondrial membrane choline transporter which is involved in membrane synthesis and myelin production and in the regulation of the function of leukocytes in particular DCs. Additional Information: Clone REA1373 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
