Clone REA410 recognizes the mouse CD66a antigen, a Single-pass type I membrane protein which is also known as Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1 (CEACAM1). CD66a is an adhesion molecule that is involved in many immune responses associated with infection, inflammation and cancer. In the mouse, CD66a is expressed on the plasma membranes of a variety of cells and tissues like endothelial cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, thymic epithelial cells, B lymphocytes and activated T lymphocytes.
