Clone REAL478 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD49a antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.Clone REAL478 recognizes the cell adhesion molecule human CD49a, which is a 200 kDa heterodimeric integrin receptor. CD49a also known as integrin α1 interacts with integrin β1 (CD29) to form the VLA-1 complex which functions as a receptor for collagen and laminin-1. Integrin α1 plays a role in cell-cell adhesion and T cell proliferation and
