Clone REA882 recognizes the mouse CD355 antigen, also known as class I MHC-restricted T cell associated molecule (CRTAM). CD355 is a type I immunoglobulin-superfamily transmembrane receptor, which is expressed by activated CD8+ T cells and NK cells, but it is also found on spleen, brain, and testis. CD355 recognizes nectin-like molecule 2 (Necl-2), a cell-surface protein that mediates epithelial cell junctions and interactions with other nectins and Necls.
