Clone REA854 recognizes the mouse CD321 antigen, a type I transmembrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains. CD321 is a receptor molecule also known as junctional adhesion molecule 1 (JAM1) and is expressed on some epithelial cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It is involved in regulating monocyte transmigration as well as in the organization and function of antigen-presenting cells.
