Clone REAL1502 recognizes CD318 (CDCP1), a type I transmembrane protein, which is also known as CDCP1 and SIMA135. CD318 (CDCP1) has an approximate molecular weight of 93 kDa and contains an extracellular domain with three regions with low homology to complement protein subcomponents C1r/C1s, urchin embryonic growth factor, and bone morphogenetic protein 1 (CUB) domains. CD318 (CDCP1) has been suggested to be an interacting partner of Src family kinase and protein kinase Cδ.
