Clone REA1085 recognizes the human CD30 antigen, a cell membrane protein, which is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily, and also known as Ki-1. CD30 is used as a tumor marker and is found on Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg (H/RS) cells, embryonal carcinoma cells, and on activated T and B lymphocytes.
