Clone REA361 recognizes the human CD295 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein which is also known as leptin receptor (LEPR). CD295 is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family which acts through Janus kinases and signal transducers and activators of transcription. It is predominantly expressed in the central nervous system and in multiple tissues, including the choroid plexus, lung, kidney, and primitive hematopoietic cell populations.
