Clone REA1423 recognizes the human CD252 (OX40L), a cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It is encoded by the TNFSF4 gene. CD252 (OX40L) functions in T cell antigen-presenting cell (APC) interactions and mediates adhesion of activated T cells to endothelial cells. CD252 (OX40L) is expressed on activated B cells, activated endothelial cells, mature dendritic cells, activated CTLs, activated mast cells, and airway smooth muscle cells.
