Clone REA583 recognizes the Y1102-phosphorylated form of CD202b, which is 145 kDa type I transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor. CD202b is composed of an amino-terminal ligand binding domain with immunoglobulin domains, epithelial growth factor repeats, and fibronectin-like 3 repeats, a single transmembrane domain, and an intracellular tyrosine kinase domain. Expression of CD202b is found on endothelial cells and a subpopulation of monocytes. Angiopoietins are the natural ligands of CD202b. Activation of CD202b dependent signaling pathways are involved in survival and apoptosis of endothelial
