Clone REA337 recognizes the human CD201 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein which is also known as endothelial protein C receptor (EPCR). CD201 is strongly expressed in the endothelial cells of arteries and veins in heart and lung, and less intensely in capillaries in the lung and skin. It is also expressed on a subset of neutrophils, monocytes, and several tumor cells. The major role of CD201 is anticoagulation.
