Clone REA532 recognizes the rat CD200 antigen, which is a transmembrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin domains and lacks intracellular signaling motifs or docking sites for adapter signaling molecules. CD200, also known as MRC OX-2 antigen, is expressed on a variety of tissues, including the nervous system, activated T cells, B cells, dendritic cells in lymphatic follicles, cells of glomeruli and ovarian degenerating follicles, and vascular endothelium. It is also distributed at the epithelium-derived tissues such as the thymus, retinas, and hair follicles. CD200 inte
