Clone REAL198 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD166 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity.Clone REAL198 recognizes the human CD166 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane protein also known as activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM). CD166, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and a ligand for the lymphocyte antigen CD6, mediates homophilic and heterophilic adhesion. It is expressed on activated leukocytes T cells, B
