Clone REA1015 recognizes the murine CD122 70–75 kDa cell surface glycoprotein, also known as interleukin-2 receptor beta chain (IL-2Rβ). CD122 is constitutively expressed on mouse NK cells and at a lower level on subsets of T cells, B cells, monocytes, and macrophages. CD122 can associate with the common γ subunit (γc, CD132) alone or with the γc subunit and the IL-2Rα subunit (CD25), resulting in intermediate or high affinity IL-2 receptor complexes.
