Clone REA1280 recognizes the glycosylated proteins C3b and iC3b, which are formed by the cleaveage of the glycoprotein complement C3, that plays a crucial role in the classical and alternative activation of the complement system and in the presentation of antigens. C3b is located in extracellular fluids, serum, and plasma membrane. iC3b is derived product from C3b and can be cleaved to form C3c and C3dg and finally C3d.Additional information: Clone REA1280 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
