Clone REA1332 recognizes the human c-Met single pass tyrosine-protein kinase, which binds its ligand Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF). c-Met is involved in different physiological processes including proliferation, scattering, morphogenesis and survival. c-Met is mainly expressed in endothel and epithelial cells and is encoded by MET, which is a protooncogen.
