BLNK is an approximately 50 KDa src homology 2 and 3 domain–containing protein that bears homology to another adaptor molecule called SLP-76 and serves as a central linker/adaptor protein involved in bridging B cell receptor–associated kinase activation with downstream signaling pathways.
