Clone REA887 recognizes the human APCDD1 antigen, a single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein also known as adenomatosis polyposis coli down-regulated 1 protein or DRAPC1. APCDD1 functions as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway, is suggested to be involved in colorectal tumorigenesis, and supports the expression and activation of β-catenin. APCDD1 is highly expressed in heart, pancreas, prostate, ovary, and in the epidermal and dermal compartments of the hair follicle.
