抗 NEDD4 磁珠

02AB00078

NEDD4 (neural precursor cell expressed developmentally downregulated 4) is a member of the HECT E3 ubiquitin ligase family that plays crucial roles in various cellular processes and diseases. NEDD4 regulates the ubiquitination and degradation of numerous substrates, including oncogenes, tumor suppressors, and ion channels, through K48- and K63-linked polyubiquitination. It is involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, autophagy, and DNA damage response. Dysregulation of NEDD4 has been implicated in various diseases, such as cancers, neurodegenerative diseases, and polycystic kidney disease. For example, NEDD4 can promote the degradation of α-synuclein, a key protein involved in Parkinson's disease pathogenesis, through K63-linked polyubiquitination. Inhibiting NEDD4 activity may enhance the clearance of toxic proteins and slow disease progression.
